Bhutan's Mask Festivals
In spring and autumn/ high season, like tour 1
however, we increasingly take part in the hustle and bustle of the mystical mask festivals....
at some festivals, a large thankha (sacred image) is unrolled on the last day in a beautiful, mystical ceremony.
We propose the following festivals for autumn 2025:
